BRS leader and former Rajya Sabha MP Santosh Rao appeared before the Special Investigation Team (SIT) in Hyderabad for questioning in the phone tapping case. He was examined at the Jubilee Hills ACP office. The case pertains to allegations that during the previous BRS government, the phones of opposition leaders, businessmen and other individuals were illegally monitored by officials of the Special Intelligence Bureau.
