Built entirely from scratch, The Banshee is engineered for advanced experimentation across wireless security research, firmware development, red team tooling, and hardware hacking.

At its core, The Banshee combines two dedicated ESP32 microcontrollers — the ESP32-C5 and ESP32-S3 — each assigned a clear role. This dual-MCU architecture allows complex workloads to be cleanly split between control logic and high-performance data handling, creating a powerful, expandable, and infinitely expendable research platform.

The Banshee proudly runs GhostESP firmware, marking a major milestone in the GhostESP revival. GhostESP is a multi-protocol security testing toolkit for ESP32 devices, enabling Wi-Fi scanning, handshake capture, NFC interaction, IR learning and transmission, GPS integration, logging, and far more — all on hardware designed to expose and control every subsystem intentionally.
