Garifuna Collective Performing at Bronx Music Hall - Pt. I on August 2nd, 2025. They are on a 20th anniversary world tour.
The group performs Garifuna traditional music such as Paranada and Punta. They are composed of a leader singer, background singers, guitarists, Sisira (Shaker/Maracas) player and two Garifuna drummers.
The late paranda legend, Andy Palacio started the group. Andy Palacio and the Garifuna Collective has propelled Garifuna music to the world stage with captivating live performances. Watina was the group’s album that started it all. The album was released in Belize C.A. in 2007.
Gari-On develops creative ways to promote and learn the Garifuna Language.
