Описание: In response to the controversy around former Army Chief General (Retd.) M.M. Naravane’s unpublished memoir, the Ministry of Defence is set to introduce comprehensive rules for books written by serving and retired armed forces personnel.

The new framework incorporates the Official Secrets Act, ensuring any sensitive or classified content is verified before publication. Retired officers will now need formal clearance from the Ministry or Army Headquarters before approaching publishers, creating a uniform and stricter approval process.
