DRAGONS, SERPENTS and BOOBS!!? - MOTORHOME ALPS SPRING TOUR - HUBEN, SOLDEN, OBERGURGL

Описание: NEW SEASON - Video 2: We leave Carthago City and head in our Motorhome for Skiing in Solden. We stay at Natur Camping Kuprian Ötztal, what a find this was with its fantastic location for hiking and its newly built top class facilities. The campsite is in Huben, just a 10 minute free bus ride to the ski slopes at Solden.

Days 5-7: We buy a 3 day ski pass and enjoy great skiing from Solden, the lifts were very good, and there's a good range of slopes for all levels. There were very few English people around and the Apres music was mainly German as far as we could tell! It's a very lively resort but there are also quieter places to go for a drink like the Bear.

Days 8: After 3 days skiing it's time for something different, we take a hike from the Campsite. The hike was tricky due to the snow and ice but thank goodness for our shoe spikes! This hike is a must do, it is stunning for its views and metal sculptures with ancient tales. The hike can also be done at night as it is illuminated, we'll be back one day to try that too. Day 9: Our last day in Solden. We catch the bus in the direction of Solden but stay on and head up the valley to Obergurgl. This is a lovely resort and another we should add to the list for skiing / hiking in the future. We hike a beautiful route to a mountain hut for coffee and cake, it was physically demanding in the deep snow but stunningly beautiful! Here's out route: https://www.wikiloc.com/hiking-trails...
