In this video, we took a dense forest safari to silence valley near Anaikatti - Coimbatore in TamilNadu.

Silent Valley is one of the last remaining tropical Rainforest in South India. Part of the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve, this unmatched beauty is a true wonder of nature.

All the jeep services are offered by the Wildlife department and price for jeep safari is Rs 3250 for maximum of 6 persons.

Silent valley jeep safari is about five hours, which includes 23km (46km up and down) safari through the forest and you can get onto a 100 feet high watch tower, where you will get amazing 360 degree view of the silent valley forest and Kunthi river (Kunthippuzha), during monsoon the ambience is awesome but you have to be careful about leeches. After enjoying the watch tower you can trek through the forest towards Kunthippuzha around one and half kilometers one side where you can see the proposed silent valley dam site, the project was later abandoned.
