This trip was supposed to be a family vacation.
Instead, it turned into the most challenging cross-country trip I’ve ever done.
Over thousands of miles, we dealt with breakdowns, unexpected repairs, bad weather, long days, and more than a few moments where I wasn’t sure we were actually going to make it to the next stop — let alone all the way home.
This isn’t a highlight reel. It’s the real story of taking an older RV across the country and dealing with problems as they happened — sometimes in parking lots, sometimes in the middle of nowhere, and sometimes at the worst possible time.
