Egyptian Goose Goslings at 7 Weeks | Close-Up Moments by the Pond
I revisited this lovely Egyptian goose family again — the 8 goslings are now 7 weeks old and have changed a lot in just one week! 🪿💛
Their feathers are developing more and more as they slowly transition from fluffy chicks into young geese.
In this visit, the family spends time around the pond while a pair of beautiful mallard ducks makes a guest appearance. You can also see signs of spring arriving, with fresh buds forming on the trees near the water.
In the second part of the video, I get quite close to the goslings and quietly observe their preening routine after coming out of the pond, an important behavior that keeps their feathers clean and waterproof.
It's always fascinating to watch these young birds grow and change week by week in their natural environment.
