I talk about emotional manipulation, gaslighting, control, and the kind of ego-driven outbursts that used to pull me into the fight — but now? I just watch, take notes, and laugh. I also share a few of my favorite methods for diffusing an angry man-child in the wild (including whispering, walking away, and my personal favorite: taking a nap).
Then I shift into something deeper — anger. The kind people assume I carry, and the kind I actually do. I talk about grief, trauma, loss, the big things I have lived through, and how I have learned to accept both my pain and my anger… without letting it drive the whole damn car.
