Roles and RBAC in Rafay's PaaS

Описание: We've designed role-based access, not just for separation of duties and security, but to also drive productivity. By giving each user persona exactly what they need and nothing more, we reduce clutter, simplify workflows, and minimize the risk of error.

In a typical organization, there are 3 types of users,
1. Infrastructure admins or operational personnel,
2. Admins responsible for specifying end user self-service experiences.
3. End users that consume via self-service.

In the Rafay platform, we have modeled these 3 types of users as distinct roles, and infra admin has full access, managing infrastructure, configuring PaaS Studio, and using the developer hub.

A PaaS admin works in PaaS Studio and the developer hub but doesn't manage infrastructure, and the end user is limited to the developer hub where they deploy and use compute and applications.

This role specific structure ensures that every user has a clear, streamlined experience tailored to their responsibilities, boosting both efficiency and security across the board.
