Around Ireland by Motorcycle - Day 1 (Part 1).

Описание: ‪@MCIreland99‬ After nearly 16 months of COVID-19 lock downs and having to cancel multiple biking trips as well as other trips during that period I was now armed with my first dose of Pfizer vaccine providing up to 80% immunity, the country was now opening up to domestic travel and hospitality and I was not waiting one more second to get back on the road.
I had my annual pilgrimage to Ireland Southern Peninsula's booked for the 2nd of June and as luck would have it, that was exactly the date the government allowed hotels to re-open their doors.
I had just finished a 2 year contract in work and had some time between contracts so the thought just struck me..When I finish my Southern peninsula weekend, why not just keep going around the country?
So that's what I did !
This video is day one of a 16 day circumnavigation of the Island of Ireland.
Spanning 5000kms it takes in the entire length of the Wild Atlantic Way and I took the opportunity to also hit as many of the Irish Photo Rally points as I could and the Causeway Coastline in Northern Ireland before making the break on the east coast home.

In this episode I manage to hit 5 of the Irish Photo Rally points whilst also taking in the Copper Coast and Hook Head Lighthouse and the Hook Peninsula.

I also apologize in advance for the rain, Ireland's weather can play havoc with these camera's and whilst I had taken measures to mitigate rain, Day 1 does have some fogging but I felt it wasn't bad enough to bin the footage as there are five of the photo rally points on this one day so I cut out as much as I could. I did have some more issues on Day 2 & 3 but after that I think I managed to put in a more solid fix.
