Dibrugarh drug network busted: Nine arrested with heroin, cash, and gold in surprise raid

Описание: In a major breakthrough for its ongoing anti-narcotics campaign, Dibrugarh Police executed a massive surprise raid in the Harijan Colony, near the Dibrugarh Town Railway Station, effectively dismantling a local drug supply hub.

The operation, targeting the 'Koyla Patti' area within the Railway Colony, resulted in the arrest of nine individuals suspected of running an illicit narcotics distribution network.

During the search, law enforcement teams targeted the residence of a woman identified as Sujata Biswas. The search yielded approximately 79 grams of suspected heroin, Rs 4,92,000 in cash believed to be drug proceeds, and a collection of gold ornaments.

A thorough investigation has been launched into the legal standing and employment status of the prime suspects.
