Описание: On May 29, 2025, we hosted the very first live session — a powerful, raw, and necessary conversation confronting the silence within the global Buddhist community around the ongoing genocide in Gaza.

In this opening gathering, we were joined by Eric Shōkei Manigian — Zen practitioner, hospital chaplain, and long-time advocate for genocide awareness and prevention. With over 35 years of Zen practice, Eric offered deeply vulnerable and uncompromising reflections on silence, complicity, and moral responsibility in Buddhist communities.

This is the majority of that live session — filled with moments of collective truth-telling that continue to resonate. It stands as an urgent call to all Buddhist communities and teachers, to stop turning away and instead speak and act with courage, clarity, and compassion.
