On this episode of my Al Pacino review series we’re covering another passion project of the man as it deals with his obsession and fascination with William Shakespeare and in particular the play “Richard III” and he made this documentary to communicate his feelings and to enlighten to general audiences who aren’t as big on Shakespeare. In doing this he’s assembled a pretty amazing and impressive group of actors to participate namely: Alec Baldwin, Winona Ryder, Kevin Spacey, Aidan Quinn, Kevin Conway, Harris Yulin, Richard Cox, James Earl Jones, Vanessa Redgrave, Penelope Allen, F. Murray Abraham, Kenneth Branagh and Rosemary Harris among others.
Oh and the documentary is directed by the man himself as well.
