Mullayanagiri is the highest peak of Karnataka. Elevation 1930 m from MSL & and 800 m from surrounding. It's the 3rd highest Peak between Himalayas and Nilgiris after Chembra and Banasura in Kerala.
Seethalayyanagiri is adjacent peak to this place.
Anciently people used Sarpadari / Sarpanandi routes to reach the peak, not very frequently visited now, but this trail is cherished by trekkers.
Now this peak has Asphalt road and 300 steps.
Baba Bundan Giri is also a prominent peak near to it. Collectively, these peaks are known as Chandradrona Parvatha Shreni {Chandradrona Mountain Range} as they naturally form the shape of a crescent moon.
