Japanese soprano Misaki Morino is quickly building a reputation as one of the most exciting up-and-coming singers for Classical and Contemporary Music but also German Lieder and Operetta. She won the First Prize of 27th International Johannes Brahms Competition 2020 and also the First Prize of Japan music Competiton 2018.
Misaki studied at the Tokyo University of the Arts. In 2014 she finished her Master’s degree with distinction at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. As a concert singer Misaki has appeared at Wiener Musikverein, at the Brucknerhaus Linz and the Vienna’s Konzerthaus among others. Misaki has performed operatic roles such as Poppea (L’incoronazione di Poppea), Morgana (Alcina), Sylvia (L’isola Disabitata), Pamina (Die Zauberflöte), Susanna (Le Nozze di Figaro) La Contessa di Folleville (Il Viaggio a Reims), Soprano (Electric Dreams[World Premiere]), among others.

Yuto KIGUCHI Piano
Yuto Kiguchi is a talented Japanese pianist. He studied at the Kyoto City University of Arts with distinction. In 2019 he graduated his Master’s degree of Vocal Accompaniment with distinction at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. He is currently in the Postgraduate course and studying Vocal Accompaniment with Prof. Markus Hadulla and Chamber Music with Prof. Stefan Mendl. As a soloist, he has been holding recitals in Japan every year since 2015 and also won a number of competitions in Japan. As a singer-accompanimenist, he got the prize of “Beste Liedbegleitung” at the International Johannes Brahms Competition held in Austria in 2020 and has steadily gained a career as a song accompanist. Also he served as an official accompaniment to the opera competitions such as "Ottavio Zino" and "NEUE STIMME“.
