Missy Bevers was a 45-year-old fitness instructor and mother of three from Midlothian, Texas who was killed inside a church in the early morning hours of April 18, 2016.
She arrived before dawn to prepare for her 5 a.m. workout class. Minutes earlier, surveillance cameras inside the building captured a lone figure wearing SWAT-style gear — helmet, vest, and a hammer — wandering the halls, opening doors, and breaking glass.
Missy was found dead shortly after.
Investigators later uncovered unsettling online messages and indications that someone may have been monitoring her movements. Despite years of investigation and a steady flow of tips, the identity of the person seen on camera has never been confirmed.
Nearly a decade later, the case remains unsolved.
