In 1991 Bondi Skate Park began as two skate ramps and was transformed in 2004 to the new, well constructed park with a street course and one of the best vert bowls in Australia, 10 foot deep with a 5 foot shallow, that proves challenging for any skill level skater.
The Bowl-a-Rama skateboarding annual event is held at Bondi Skate Bowl, drawing the most experienced, professional skateboarders from Australia and around the world.
We check out a few local skaters having fun in the Bondi Skate Bowl on a Sunday afternoon.
