If you're wondering what to visit in Portugal, this what I consider another great destination!

Spending a day at Paiva Walkways is a unique experience in Portugal and you should include it in your travel bucket list!

I absolutely loved Passadiços do Paiva, and was looking forward to sharing this place with you. Let me know if you've been there too, how was it like... and if you haven't been there let me know if this is something you would definitely consider visiting!


As this is a linear path, we walked approximately 17KM. It took us 6 hours in total! But if people want to do just one of the ways it's OK: there are taxis in both sides of the walkways and they will take you to your starting point. Also, if you don't bring snacks and drinks with you there are restaurants/cafes on both sides of the walkways, and an area with a bar and toilets (very clean with toilet paper available) at KM4.
