The original idea for the Positivity Project came from a group of students and their parents. They wanted a creative way to express their appreciation of Nichols and the community. Middle School Dean of Students and Middle School Science teacher, Greg Plumb, just helped them put it all together. The students shared their love of Nichols through video and written words. The students then selected their favorites to write on the posters.
"We originally had over a 100 comments. I just used camera and video to record the whole process. We called it the Positivity Project to boost the spirits during the gray days of winter. The kids were very creative in their responses as well as their artwork."
