What are thermobarometry and chemometry? How can they help us understand magmatic dynamics at inaccessible depths? And why might it be important to use machine learning techniques to do thermobarometry and chemometry?
In this presentation Luca Caricchi, Professor at the University of Geneva in the Petrology and Volcanology research group, will show us one of the latest research themes developed by the research group he leads on the use of machine learning techniques in thermobarometry and chemometry.
