Join me on a budget-friendly adventure as I address a noisy steering issue on my FZS V2. Thanks to a friend at the Yamaha Service Center in Malibagh, we discovered a worn-out steering stem thread on the lower Triple Tree, and a cost-effective solution was within reach. In this video, I'll take you through the entire repair process, from inspecting the problem to the workshop where we weld a new stem and cut precise threads using a lathe machine.
Discover how this solution, costing only 1000 BDT, saved me from replacing the entire triple tree, which could have set me back 10,000 BDT. I'm grateful for the mechanic's expertise at the Yamaha Service Center. Plus, I'll share insights into the advantages and disadvantages of official servicing by Yamaha Service Center, provided by ACI Motors in Bangladesh.
