Описание: 'The Tomorrow People' was a British science fiction series on ITV running from 1973 to 1979. It replaced 'Ace Of Wands' (1970-72) and was advertised as ITV's answer to the BBC's 'Doctor Who.' As such there were a variety of imaginative stories involving aliens, time travel, human drama and comedy. Despite being broadcast early evening there were some dark stories with death and tragedy. The Tomorrow People are the next stage of human evolution known as Homo Superior and they have the powers of telepathy, telekinesis and teleportation (known as jaunting in the show). They have a hidden base and super computer, TIM, in an abandoned London Underground train station It had a memorable theme tune and opening titles. Over the course of several seasons the show established its own mythos, supporting characters and villains. Despite the limitations of the budget the stories were ambitious. This is a very fondly remembered show by those who rushed home from school to watch it!

In an attempt to use psionic powers against the Soviet Union during the Cold War a secretive government department, led by the mysterious Colonel Masters, attempts to discover and use new Tomorrow People as weapons. This leads them to Tyso as he breaks out. How do Cawston and Tricia Conway fit in? Can the Tomorrow People rescue Tyso or will they also become pawns in the Cold War?
