The AFICS combines the stability and control of a modern ischial containment socket with a flexible socket that allows the patient to sit without feeling the seat and without the socket pushing up on the seat and gapping. This results in an extremely functional, comfortable and cosmetic socket that is revolutionary in its design. The AFICS also conforms to the patients residual limb with body heat and thus shapes over time. The AFICS (Adaptive Flexible Ischial Containment Socket) is exclusive to Chin and Partners.
