തൊടുപുഴ കുട്ടപ്പാസിലെ ഊണ് കഴിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടോ? | Thodupuzha Kuttappas Fish Fry and Sweet Red Mulberries

Описание: തൊടുപുഴയിൽ ഉള്ള ഹോട്ടൽ കുട്ടപ്പാസ് പോകണം എന്ന് ഒത്തിരി കൂട്ടുകാർ എന്നോട് പറഞ്ഞിട്ടുള്ളതാണ്. അങ്ങനെ ആണ് ഇടുക്കി ഗ്രീൻബെർഗ് റിസോർട്ടിൽ നിന്നും കൊച്ചിയിലേക്ക് മടങ്ങി വരുന്ന വഴി കുട്ടപ്പാസിൽ കയറിയത്. ഞങ്ങൾ എത്തുമ്പോഴേക്കും പാചകം എല്ലാം കഴിഞ്ഞത് കാരണം അത് കാണാൻ ഒത്തില്ല. എങ്കിലും പുളിശ്ശേരി കൂട്ടിയുള്ള കുട്ടപ്പാസ് ഊണ് കഴിച്ചു. Greenberg Resort in Idukki was not part of our plans. But we decided to stay there for a day, when some of our other plans didn't work out well. In Greenberg, Abhilash, Vishnu and I tried rope climbing and adventure activities. It was a fun-filled day for all.
After departing from Greenberg Resort in Idukki, we were on our way to Kochi. We stopped for lunch at Hotel Kuttappas in Thodupuzha. This hotel was recommended to me by many of our Food N Travel friends. Though we couldn't watch cooking, we tasted their lunch, with fish fries and fish curries.
ഗ്രീൻബെർഗ് റിസോർട് ഞങ്ങളുടെ പ്ലാനിൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല. മറ്റു ചില സ്ഥലങ്ങൾ അത്ര പോരാ എന്ന് തോന്നിയപ്പോൾ ആണ് ഞങ്ങൾ ഗ്രീൻബെർഗിലേക്കു വന്നത്. അവിടെ മൾബറി പഴങ്ങൾ രുചിച്ചു. അഭിലാഷും വിഷ്ണുവും കയറിൽ തൂങ്ങി കുറച്ചു സാഹസികതയൊക്കെ പരീക്ഷിച്ചു. ഒരു ദിവസത്തെ താമസത്തിനു ശേഷം കൊച്ചിയിലേക്ക് മടങ്ങുന്ന വഴി ആണ് തൊടുപുഴയിൽ ഉള്ള കുട്ടപ്പാസ് ഹോട്ടലിൽ കയറുന്നത്.
ഞങ്ങൾ എത്തുമ്പോൾ വൈകിപ്പോയതിനാൽ പാചകം ഒന്നും തന്നെ കാണാൻ പറ്റിയില്ല. സാംബാർ, അവിയൽ, പുളിശ്ശേരി, തോരൻ എന്നിങ്ങനെ പലതും പാത്രങ്ങളിൽ നിറച്ചു വെക്കുന്നതും വിളമ്പുന്നതും ആയ കാഴ്ചകൾ കണ്ട ശേഷം ഞങ്ങളും രുചി നോക്കാൻ ആയി ഇരുന്നു. ഒരു സാധാരണ ഊണ് എന്ന് പറയാം. എങ്കിലും അവിടത്തെ സ്പെഷ്യൽ ആയ പുളിശ്ശേരി, അത് നല്ല രുചികരം തന്നെ. നല്ല പുളിയും അല്പം മധുരവും ഉള്ള കുറുകിയ പുളിശ്ശേരി ചോറിന്റെ കൂടെ അടിപൊളി കോമ്പിനേഷൻ ആണ്.
