Описание: Chinese Intelligence Services (CIS) has been actively working in India, as several media reports have proven in the past. From employing their ‘thousand grains of sand’ strategy to gather intelligence using civilian assets, China has been carrying out ISR operations both internally and externally as far as India is concerned.

This, coupled with their military intelligence (better known as ‘multiple professional systems’), has a very symbiotic approach towards intelligence operations in India. From surveillance submarines and ships in the Indian Ocean Region to spy balloons in the Tibetan plateau, the Chinese have a diverse range of technologies and methods to employ those technologies to gather intelligence in India. This has had external linkages too, with Pakistan and Nepal being treated as a tertiary territory for intelligence gathering and possibly increasing their tentacles into Indian affairs.
