He kept this “hidden wisdom” a secret so that Satan and his princes would not know it.

The “hidden wisdom” about the cross is at the heart of the gospel of the grace of
God and the mystery revealed through Paul. “The preaching of the cross,” as Paul
calls it, is what makes salvation by grace through faith in the blood of Christ
alone possible.
