She did not make the cancer, She did not make the pain

God did not create it... and so it is not real.

I am afraid of the power I hold
The surge of the mind, ancient and old.
I pretend that my thoughts are idle and weak
To hide from the monsters that I dare not speak.
But the mind never sleeps, and the mind never stops
It builds the mountains and the mountain tops!
I must own the power to change what I see
To take back the will that was given to me.
