The geographical features of Levant area were explored around the dolmens of Jordan River Basin, and the results are summarized as follows:
First, Megalithic monuments including dolmens are concentrated in the eastern part of the Jordan River basin. Second, the central regiment of dolmens in the Jordan River basin can be seen between B.C.3500 and B.C.2,000. Third, the secondary burial methods were commonly used in India, Indonesia, islands in the Pacific Ocean, the southern part of the Korean Peninsula and Japan. Fourth, the port-hole of dolmens is found in the Black Sea region and India as holes in the dead's spirits, but none has been reported in Southeast Asia and Northeast Asia. Fifth, if the east side of dolmens has a door and a long axis direction, it is related to the sun religion. Sixth, the dolmen types of the Jordan River basin can be divided into the Type I table, Type II go-table, Type III capstone, and Type Ⅳ altar. Sixth, petroglyph in the capstone of the Shamir 3 were caved out of the notion that the spirit of the dead would travel in the direction of the Samjichang (三枝槍) and return to dolmen, the home of the dead. Seventh, the cairn would be used by the Hittite as a nomadic tribe, and rock cut tombs constructed as a traditional funeral custom of the Israelites. The Canaanites served Baal as the sun god, so they would have built and used dolmen as a rite of death before the Israelites entered Canaan region.
