Because of the huge succes of the first video, here is another one.
This video was made to show the difference in sound between a Schimmel 109 and a Yamaha U3. Because it’s fun.
The Schimmel feels warm and mellow, making it sound very powerful and big, even being a rather small piano.
The Yamaha sounds brighter, making more contrast between the notes. The recorder even made the Yamaha sound softer than the ‘in the face’ sound when sitting behind it. This makes the Yamaha easier to record.
