This video was filmed at 1 AM on March 5th in Tanukikoji Shopping Street, a long covered shopping arcade stretching across central Sapporo.

Earlier that night, I had just returned to the city on the last train. Instead of going straight home, I decided to take a slow walk through the quiet streets before heading back.

During the day, Tanukikoji is usually crowded with locals and visitors from around the world. Restaurants, shops, and bright neon lights fill the arcade with energy.

But after midnight, the atmosphere changes completely.
On this night, a light rain mixed with melting snow was falling.
March in Sapporo is normally still deep winter, yet the temperature was unusually warm this year and the snow had already begun turning into rain.

The usually lively arcade was calm and nearly empty.
Only a few late-night workers and people walking home passed by.

With the gentle sound of rain on the pavement and the quiet atmosphere of the sleeping city, I slowly walked home through Tanukikoji.

No music has been added.Only the natural sounds of footsteps, rain, and the late-night ambience of Sapporo.
