Good morning, everyone! Today I had a speed workout followed by a lower-body lift. Really happy with how the workout went this morning, was able to hit some really solid splits! In terms of strength training, it is absolutely a must for all runners! This has been crucial for me being able to stay healthy!
Speed Workout:
2 mile wu
10 miles @ 6:45 avg
2.5 mile cd
Lower Body Strength Workout:
Bulgarian Split Squats - 3x5
Single Leg RDL - 3x5
Step-ups - 2x5
Step-downs - 2x5
Copenhagen Plank - 2x30 sec each
Tib Raises - 2x20
Straight Leg Calf Raise - 1x10
Bent Leg Calf Raise - 1x10
