I bought this iPhone one week ago from Facebook Marketplace. I checked and tested everything before buying, and it was working perfectly with no issues. I successfully transferred my personal number, and I paid $850 for it. It’s a 512GB model and was fully unlocked for any SIM.
However, this morning when I woke up, the iPhone had reset itself. After connecting to Wi-Fi, it showed that the device was reported as lost or stolen.
After doing a lot of research, I discovered that the phone had AppleCare. The previous owner sold it to me and then reported it to AppleCare to get a replacement phone from Apple. Because of that, the device is now useless since it has been reported through AppleCare.
