Let’s talk about both products and services...

In products, HUL has increased prices of its premium soaps Dove and Pears by 4-5%

Detergents like Rin Advanced is up by 5%, Wheel is up by 11%

Colgate and Dabur have hiked prices of a few toothpaste SKUs by 4-9%

Saffola oil prices are up by 7%

Nestle, Britannia, Marico, ITC, Amul... they’ve all done it recently...

That’s not all...

Let’s look at other industries...

Apart from Airlines, which have a direct impact of jetfuel inflation, even restaurants because of gas price hike...

Even for service providers, the price of AI subscriptions is going up, equipment cost for mobiles and laptops has risen because of a chip shortage...

Unless you are a service provider to foreigners and you get paid in dollars, your price increase is already taken care of by the falling Rupee...

But otherwise, do it, else you might see a drop in your margins by close to 10% this financial year.
