I’m so excited to share my new album, "Chain of Love" (A Broadway Album)—a true celebration of my lifelong passion for musical theater. This collection brings together my deep love for showtunes—from beloved classics to rarely-heard gems and even a few glorious fiascos!🤣
One of my favorites is “Chain of Love” from The Grass Harp, a 1971 musical that ran just seven performances but left a lasting impression on me.
The album features works by legendary composers like Kander & Ebb, Stephen Sondheim, Jerry Herman, Irving Berlin, and Charles Strouse, with several songs reimagined through my own arrangements. Each track is woven with personal stories from my years in New York and San Francisco, including encounters with Broadway stars and casting directors who shaped my journey.
I was thrilled to collaborate with the Bay Area’s Lamplighters Music Theater (now in their 78th season performing Gilbert & Sullivan), who join me in beautiful duets, playful trios, and one full-ensemble number.
