⚡ Amiodarone is a class III antiarrhythmic used in cardiac arrest for VFib or pulseless VT, and sometimes for stable wide-complex tachycardia.
In this video, we’ll cover:
– Drug class & mechanism (prolongs repolarization and refractory period)
– Indications: VF/VT without a pulse, stable monomorphic VT, AFib with RVR
– Doses for cardiac arrest vs. maintenance
