From Worldschooling to Sailing Dreams | A Family’s Journey on the Water

Описание: We’re a family who loves to travel, learn, and explore — and this is how our journey toward sailing began.

From kayaking around the world to becoming PADI Advanced Open Water scuba certified, water has always played a central role in our lives. After a ten-day liveaboard trip in Raja Ampat, Indonesia, our family began dreaming of a different way of living and learning — one that blends travel, ocean adventures, and time together.

For years, we’ve practiced worldschooling, splitting our time between North Texas, Taiwan, and international travel. Our bilingual children have attended local camps and schools as part of language immersion, while we learned that the greatest education often comes from shared experiences.

In this episode, we share the story that led us to sailing — including our first family sailing trip in the Bahamas, why life on the water feels like a natural extension of worldschooling, and how we’re preparing to one day cross oceans together.

多年來，我們實踐世界學校（worldschooling），在德州北部、台灣與國際旅行之間分配時間。我們的雙語孩子參加當地營隊與學校進行語言沉浸式學習，而我們也深刻體會到，最珍貴的教育來自共同的生活體驗。
