Here's a quick hack to help you fix your grooming scissors if they catch or lock whilst you are using them.
First and foremost, if a pair of your grooming scissors are catching or have completely locked, DO NOT continue to use the scissors and DO NOT repeat the opening and closing of the scissors. This action has caused further damage to the cutting edges of the blades and if any dents have been made, this repeated action of opening and closing will deepen the dent or dents and further issues.
This method will help fix your scissors and allow you to continue to use them. However, this is a temporary fix and it can help you get back to using your scissors, but it is recommended that you contact your scissor sharpener to have them checked out.
