Starting at square one, Owen takes us through his first seven steps in the process he uses for setting up a brand new bow, and shares a few tips and tricks that he has learned over the years working on his own equipment. This will be the first of many in a short series that will see Owen set up his new RX-8 from Hoyt Archery from start to finish, so be sure to follow along in the coming week's! In part 1 of this series, he covers cover how to mount and pre-time your arrow rest, nock leveling, tying in your d-loop, finding and adjusting your center shot, adjusting your draw length, and finally fine tuning the timing of your arrow rest.
