Join me on one of Switzerland's most stunning ridge hikes, the panoramic trail from Klingenstock to Fronalpstock on Stoos. Our journey begins in Schwyz, where we take the world’s steepest funicular railway up to Stoos SZ. After a short walk, we board the chairlift that takes us comfortably to Klingenstock.
At the top, we are greeted by a breathtaking mountain panorama and the starting point of the famous ridge hike. The two-hour trail to Fronalpstock offers spectacular views of the surrounding mountain ranges, as well as the picturesque Lake Uri and Lake Lucerne. The route is a photographer’s dream and an unforgettable nature experience.
At Fronalpstock, you can enjoy the magnificent views of the lakes and surrounding peaks. A cozy restaurant invites you to relax while taking in the stunning scenery. The return journey is effortless, with a chairlift ride followed by the Stoosbahn funicular back to the valley.
