---A little bit about the Shaykh---:

Shaykh Mohammad Yasir studied at the Institute of Islamic Education in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire where he completed his studies in Qira'at, Aqīdah, Arabic grammar, Logic, science of hadith, exegesis of the Qur'an and also accomplished the hifz of the Qur'an.

He studied Aqīdah [Islamic theology] with Shaykh Mufti Musa Badat the khalifah of Mufti Mahmood Hasan Gangohi [r.h]. He attained ijaazah in hadith from Shaykhul Hadith Mufti Muslihuddin and in the 7 Qira'ats from Shaykh Imtiyaz. He also got ijazah at the completion of Bukhari from Maulana Tariq Jameel.

Currently Shaykh is an imam in a masjid in Bradford in which he serves the needs of his local community at large. In addition he teaches Islamic studies in a secondary school.
