The pilot run of motorcycle taxis in the Philippines will continue after transport authorities held a dialogue with motorcycle taxi firms Angkas, JoyRide, and Move It.
The Department of Transportation's (DOTr) consultant on road transport, Bert Suansing, says the pilot study will now go on as scheduled.
The agency is also looking to make adjustments to the study such as increasing the number motorcycle taxi riders and allowing the ride-hailing firms to operate in more areas in the Philippines.
