Today I try something rather tasty with a long history; the tangy Feta Cheese! One of my favourites, it's Louisa's first time trying Feta. Let's see what she thinks!
Though many cheeses around the world are called feta, real Feta cheese is made in Greece and has a Protected Designation of Origin giving it legal protection within the European Union.
Traditionally made from sheep's milk, you can also find Feta made with up to 30% goat's milk added. It's a vegetarian cheese which may be pasteurised or unpasteurised, and is aged for around 3 months in brine.
You can do a lot of great things with Feta cheese but my favourites are eating it as it is, perhaps with olives, or putting it in a Greek salad. So tasty!
