Bad Bunny made history with the first Super Bowl halftime show performed entirely in Spanish on Sunday night.
The Puerto Rican artist delivered just one line in English – “God bless America” – and listed the nations of Central, South and North America as a billboard showed the message: “The only thing more powerful than hate is love.”
The world's most-streamed artist was joined on stage by Pedro Pascal, Cardi B and Jessica Alba and Karol G, with guest performances coming from Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin.
Donald Trump, who chose not to attend this year's Super Bowl, called the halftime show "absolutely terrible, one of the worst, EVER!" on Truth Social.
Bad Bunny's performance comes in the wake of increased brutality from Trump’s anti-immigration crackdown, which has seen children kidnapped and immigration enforcement officers shoot two US citizen observers dead.
