Spring is taking hold at Skebo Manor, and our grand garden project is moving ahead with exciting momentum! In this episode of Swedish Manor Life, we take you with us as we gather ideas and sketch out plans for the two pergola towers that will become focal points in the garden. We explore the manor grounds and surrounding landscape to draw inspiration from nature and the estate’s historic character - blending formal design with the wild beauty of the Swedish countryside.

We also venture out to search for flowers and climbing plants to complement our vision - visiting local nurseries, considering color palettes, and making notes on what will bloom when. Back at home, we begin preparing the garden for what’s to come: scraping away the grass, laying out the planting beds, and getting the space ready for the exciting planting work ahead.

Though we’re not putting flowers in the ground just yet, the groundwork is being laid - literally! It’s a satisfying and hopeful stage of the project, where plans take shape and the garden starts to reveal its future form. Join us as we hit another milestone in the ongoing revival of our historic Swedish manor estate.
