Budget 2024: Singaporeans aged 40 and above to receive $4,000 SkillsFuture top-up

Singapore is pumping in more resources to close the wage gap and encourage lifelong learning. All Singaporeans aged 40 and above will receive a $4,000 SkillsFuture credit top-up in May to spur them to upskill and reskill. Meanwhile, Institute of Technical Education graduates aged 30 and below will receive a $5,000 top-up to their Post-Secondary Education Accounts to encourage them to earn a diploma. They will get another $10,000 to their CPF Ordinary Accounts upon completing the diploma. Alif Amsyar reports.
