The Japanese Walking Method is a 3x3 interval walking workout that alternates 3 minutes of easy walking with 3 minutes of fast walking (70-85% effort) for 30 minutes. We're going to complete up to 4,000 steps in this workout, but this Japanese Walking technique is just as effective as a 10,000 steps walking session. This workout helps raise and lower your heart rate in waves, improving cardiovascular fitness, endurance, and fat burning without high-impact stress on the joints. This is an effective and fun low-impact alternative to running or HIIT, making it great for beginners, active recovery days, or anyone who wants a more challenging and efficient walking workout.
