Born in Missouri, Tristan spent years custom harvesting while carrying a simple but big dream: one day owning his own dairy. That dream eventually pulled him north to Wisconsin, where he found a place, took a leap, and began building a dairy operation from the ground up.

With the help of good people in the community — and his best friend Tom right by his side — Tristan turned vision into reality. Along the way, he picked up a camera and started telling the truth about life in dairy farming: the wins, the mistakes, the long days, and the learning curves.

Today, Doing It Wrong Dairy has built an incredible following, not because everything is perfect — but because it’s real. Tristan’s honesty, humility, and willingness to show the full picture have struck a chord with people both inside and outside of agriculture.

This episode is about chasing a dream, leaning on the right people, and doing the work even when it’s uncomfortable — because sometimes “doing it wrong” is the only way to do it right.
