Bon Jovi | Legendary Concert at Weserstadion | Bremen 2003

Описание: To this day, that night marked the last of four memorable concerts at Bremen's Weserstadion that the band used to play. Jon's voice was already on a decline compared to the early months of that year (and probably also due to his constant heyfever struggle which seemed to really settle in in 2003), but he ran into overdrive near the end of the main set, making for possibly my favourite I'll Sleep When I'm Dead performance, even though his voice was getting tired. The overall mood of both crowd and band is great throughout. And them ending their show with unexpected choices is an approach I personally really like.
The video had one bigger error (which I think came from a fault on the original DV tapes): Near the end of Richie's I'll Be There For You outro, the picture stutters and the sound cuts in and out a few times. It may have also happened in other spots that I simply didn't notice thus far. Other than that, it's a very nice looking recording from that era! The audio on these early digital recordings were mostly shitty, to be honest. They may sound decent and only a bit dull at first, but once you push them, you notice that only a tight frequency band was captured. When I listened back to the final mix (where I had tried to give all instruments a bit room), there was so much "metallic phasing" uncovered that I went back and had to rework it again. I think I found an overall decent balance in the end.
