We dropped by SIM LIM SQ. to celebrate the Lantern Festival this year, and the atmosphere was absolutely buzzing! 🥁🔥 The moment the drums started, you could instantly feel the festive spirit come alive.

The highlight of the event was the incredible performance by the Nan Sieng Lion Dance Troupe. From high-difficulty stunts and agile jumps to the detailed expressions and movements of the lion, every moment showcased their years of experience and teamwork. With the powerful drumbeats setting the rhythm, each leap and “cai qing” (plucking the greens) sequence kept the audience fully engaged and cheering throughout. 👏🦁

Families and friends packed the venue, many capturing the performance on their phones. Lion dance isn’t just entertainment — it represents tradition, blessings, and wishes for prosperity and good fortune.
